4 lbs white sugar
2 pints water
3 citrus fruits (i.e. 1 grapefruit, 1 lemon & 1 lime or any combination)
2 oz citric acid
Juice and remove inner flesh of fruits (and put to one side).
Place the water in a pan and bring to the boil.
Pour sugar into pan slowly until disolved.
Add juice and inner flesh of fruit.
Add citric acid.
Allow to cool and bottle.
Dilute to taste.
