Noelle     2/17/2009 11:00:56 AM
This is my first time here and I see I'm a bit late. I wish I'd known of this earlier it looks like so much fun. I'll mark my calendar so I remember to stop by earlier next year. Thanks so much for keeping the dream alive!

Stephanie     2/16/2009 11:33:58 PM
Thank you so much to the candlemakers for their amazingly hard (but amazingly amazing!) work to get things ready for us and to guide us through this Winterfest week. Thank you, too, to everyone who submitted something for the rest of us to enjoy. Finally, thank you so much to everyone who attended. Winterfest 2009 has come and gone, but once again the BatB community has proven that we know how to keep the dream alive. You all are so fantastic! Be well! See you next year!

JoAnn     2/16/2009 3:17:56 PM
In honor of all the wonderful work done by our candlemakers, I'm going to give away a B&B Innovation Comic #1 and a pewter Vincent lapel pin free to good homes, as long as supplies last. Come over to BBTV and find me and I'll get your info. Type Comic/Pin in the subject line and I'll e-mail you off-list. JoAnn

First and foremost I'll thank all who made WFOL such a wonderful place. It was my 2nd and I can say I've enjoyed every day I could spend my time here. So sad it has ended now. Can't wait to be a part of the next one. Thanks again for this great week! I'll miss you all!!

Sharon     2/15/2009 8:33:09 PM
Thanks everyone for an inspiring and wonderful Winterfest experience! Thank you all for sharing the light and the dream! Now may we carry that same light out of the Great Hall and onward to wherever we go from here, remembering that we are a part of one another even in Real Life! Tunnel Love to All!

michelleS     2/15/2009 8:30:44 PM
So sorry that winterfest has to go it has been so fun to do all sorts of things.I we will do this again next year i have enjoyed it very much.As vincent says "be well" winterfest people.

Carole     2/15/2009 7:57:38 PM
There's a quote from the Buddha: "We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world." Look at the world we have created here, all our loving thoughts put together, and twenty+ years later, the dream is only stronger, clearer, and we are happier for it. Thanks to all for a wonderful week.

Zanna     2/15/2009 7:14:21 PM
Traditionally Winterfest ends with a circle of hands. But, having spent time with so many of you, I hope to see you many times more, before the next Winterfest. Thank you all the Candlemakers for your wonderful gift of this WFOL. You truly do share the light! Be well!

Renée Lemieux     2/15/2009 5:00:10 PM
I feel more and more like I'm part of a big family and it gets better every year. Thank you, wish I could be there in person, by my heart is with you all to celebrate.

Katherine     2/15/2009 3:38:48 PM
I really enjoyed this my first WinterFest, I will miss you all and hope to have more fun next year. I wish that I could have found out about Beauty and the Beast sooner.

Kerstin     2/15/2009 2:15:09 PM
Thank you sooooo sooooo soooo much to you wintercandlemakers!!!!!!!! Had a great time and am glad to know that there are other tunnelers too. Was my first winterfest and I'm already looking forward to next year. Thanks for giving me the chance to be part of a wonderful family. Maybe we will see each other in New Orleans? :) Be well!

Marianne Nielsen     2/15/2009 11:20:44 AM
An other Winterfest Online is soon to end. :-( But I am already looking forward to WFOL 2010! I have enjoyed this week. Wonder, if it's going to take place around Vincent's birthday next year? I hope so. :-) The treasure hunt was fun, the other games as well. But one thing was very difficult: Today's Challenge. One might think, that Vincent's hands would inspire me to write a poem or the like...but nothing came up. (Sorry, Vincent!) That might be due to MY narrow horizon...heh heh heh! I certainly don't blame any of YOU creative people! Trust me on THAT one! The Valentine hearts (the candy) were cute, and I DID post a few hearts, dedicated to Vincent and Catherine...or should we say, "Prince Vincent & Lady Catherine"! These two love birds certainly ARE beautiful! In every sense of the word! I will leave you here...and hope to be able to participate in the fun, next year. Warmest greetings from Marianne, Denmark, Europe

Rosemarie S.     2/15/2009 11:01:00 AM
Everything was so beautiful - I had a truly wonderful week. Thank you to the Wintercandlemakers for your dedication and talents that make this come together. Thanks also to everyone else who shared a part of themselves. You all inspire me SO much!

Cordula"kruemmel" from Germany     2/15/2009 10:55:59 AM
This is my first winterfest and because of a little holidaytrip I wasn't able to join all days. But I can say ..."Thank you" to all people working on this winterfest to make it sooo beautiful for us fans. It's a great fun to join in here and be together with other fans from all over the world. I'm sure that next year I'll spend my "holiday" with my computer in a closed room to enjoy every day of winterfest. Hughs to you all - we'll see us next year! And once more - thanks for all - WFOL rocks!!!

Dar (woobunny)     2/15/2009 10:54:10 AM

Conny from Germany     2/15/2009 10:36:42 AM
A huge "thank you" and a bear-hug from a devoted fan. It was my second WFOL and I had so much fun with all the wonderful activities. For I am a fan fic-addict I read all the marvellous stories first, even the 3. seasons.I loved all the fantastic games and even tried the treasure hunt.My family is already complaining, I'm afraid I neglected my chores shamelessly, but I introduced my son to the jigsaws and I have the distinct impression he's particularly fond of Lynn's drawings-if you know what I mean- but never mind-he's 17 ! Alas these wonderful days are over and all that is left is to look forward to next year's WFOL. Thank you for all your hard work and the joy and the love you brought to all of us.

Arantza     2/15/2009 9:46:56 AM
Muchiiiiiisimos abrazos.

Cari     2/15/2009 9:02:50 AM
A big round of applause, thank you, and cyber hugs to all who made this Winterfest 2009 possible. Have not had this much fun in a long time. This past week has been wonderful...yep have spent all my free time here -- to heck with chores. Hope the site stays up for a while. I'm still finding my way all around, and discover something new and fun every step of the way!!!!

Jan in Ohio     2/15/2009 8:47:45 AM
This is my first year at Winterfest and with this group of amazing people. I enjoyed Winterfest immensely and want to thank the organizers for all of their hard work. I am astounded at how friendly and giving you all are and I look forward to getting to know everyone better and enjoying many more years together.

Tim Rooch     2/15/2009 5:40:52 AM
Had a wonderful time this year. I was grinning ear to ear through most of it. The only exceptions being when the author evoked different emotion. Teasure Hunt was fantastic, I think I'm getting the hang of it, only banged my head a few times and besides you need those moments to make finding the treasure that much sweeter. David Greenlee was a treat and a doll. Painted Tunnels was delightful, I love the less formal air it gives to art. The stories and readings transported me. Too little time to read many so I grabbed them to savor later. Lastly I reccomend the WFOL diet, lost 20 pounds around my middle (who has time to eat?) and gained 5 pound bags under my eyes (who has time to sleep?), net loss of 10 pounds. This diet is to be used on a limited basis only, no more than 3 times a year, if you are lucky enough to attend the American and European Cons also. Hugs to the candlemakers, you always brighten up this gray season, authors, artists, readers, vidders and friends, you bring lasting memories and smiles. Well done. Cheers, hugs, dances, tears and thank yous.

Lara     2/15/2009 5:34:54 AM
I loved it! Thank you for a great Valentines' Winterfest!

Anja     2/15/2009 5:15:59 AM
I just want to say thanks for this years Winterfest.

Nancy T     2/14/2009 6:48:47 PM
This has been so much fun. I've enjoyed everything, esp. the treasure hunt and the videos and the caption this game was a hoot!! Hope to''SEE''U all next year!!

Deb     2/14/2009 5:40:08 PM
I loved everything. The Valentines Day pages made me feel so special...almost like it was just for me. The vids were wonderful, the fanfic is great. I am terrible at word games, but got a few right in a few places. Just a wonderful experience again this year. Thank you so much...And I can't wait to see how the Classic RR ends!

Bi     2/14/2009 3:27:23 PM
First of all i send "Many, many thanks!" from the north of germany and some big hugs to all persons who made this winterfest again such amazing, lovely and awesome for us; it's my third one and once again i'm stunned because of the great creativity of this fandom, and i really enjoyed every day in our great hall: mostly i liked the game nook and the vids (great job, tm, as usual :-), roared with laughter about the comic, had much fun in the bathing room ;-), and unlike the other years (remember, Vicky and Je ;-)? ) i needed NO help to deal up with the treasure hunt this time - far from it, some sites were nearly TOO easy, but although i loved them all :-)! Sadly i often missed the chats because of the time shift of +6 hours (like the role play - sob sob sob... :-( ), but even this couldn't tarnish my great fun i had these last days!!! Love to all and until next year! Bi

geniepiper     2/14/2009 1:19:16 PM
Hard to navigate, just like last year; and, the Treasure Hunt just as impossible. I finally gave up and know of at least one other person that did too. There were some good things this year, the stories and videos, but because of these other things my end impression is not a good one.

gabi     2/14/2009 7:07:59 AM
Happy Winterfest!
I wish I had more than five stolen minutes here and there to enjoy the celebration. Once again the candlemakers and the fans with their submissions have done a great job. Thanks!
PS. where is the warning about needing sunglasses to visit the Valentine's Day Celebration? ;-)

Marianne Nielsen     2/13/2009 9:46:30 PM
To all treasure hunt fans. YOU ARE GOING TO ENJOY THIS ONE!:-):-) I can tell you, "100 pro", that I really enjoyed it. And had some good laughs along the way!

Marianne Nielsen     2/12/2009 7:04:22 PM
Hello again! I have just read "Watchful Seduction"! WOW!! That is a GOOD story! I ought to hit the hay... g'night!

deafheaven     2/12/2009 4:38:39 PM

deb j     2/10/2009 5:58:03 PM
I had a great time again today at Winterfest - it's better than Woodstock! I'd like to invite everyone to read "I Wish I Had a River" on tunneltales. I really want to thank all those who have kept the dream alive for 20+ years. You've been my salvation!

Vicky     2/10/2009 4:43:05 PM

wcm     2/10/2009 7:44:17 AM
Marianne, you can get java from Also, if you have scripting turned off in your browser, you need to turn it on. (It's probably better to post these kinds of questions in the yahoogroup, or send to our email address, Easier for us to miss them here.)

Arantza     2/10/2009 1:20:22 PM
Pense que el año pasado me lo habia pasado bien, pero este año que se donde estan las cosas me lo estoy pasando incluso mejor.....Ademas hay mas contenidos en castellano, que me hace comprender un poco mas todo. Gracias por el esfuerzo

I want to take a moment to thank all those who have contributed to yet another wonderful Winterfest. The Candlemakers are doing a fantastic job of keeping everything running smoothly. There is so much I would like to say, so many individuals I would like to thank.....but catching everyone as they run to and fro in these tunnels is hard. So I'll just post a great big THANK YOU to all who are making this years Winterfest the fantastic journey that it is. HUGS, mini

Steve Eldred     2/9/2009 7:58:37 PM
Winterfest makes it possible to share how truly wonderful a television series Beauty and the Beast is with people who already know it. What an amazing gathering of fans and friends and family.

ab     2/9/2009 5:27:53 PM
This is my first exciting! Thank you all for making me feel welcome. Enjoy the festival!

Marianne Nielsen     2/9/2009 4:12:05 PM
Hi again! I am at a loss, when it comes to Word Search. It looks exciting, but I can't get it started. Some Java Applet is obviously missing here. There are no buttons to "start game" or the like. How can I get this game started? Marianne, Denmark

Vicky     2/9/2009 12:08:04 PM

makulkaym     2/8/2009 10:19:27 AM

Deb     2/8/2009 7:24:55 AM

Marianne Nielsen     2/7/2009 8:06:29 PM
Hi again!I sure WILL check in daily to see what's new...and take part in polls, gaming etc. I have also seen, that it was possible to recommend/suggest literature for Vincent to read to Catherine. It is now 04.15 a.m. in Denmark - Dee-Kay (decay!), so I better "hit the hay." At least for a few hours. :-)

Poetrymischief     2/7/2009 2:10:33 PM
To all those who make Winterfest what it is, from the person who first imagined Vincent and Catherine and put those ideas on paper, all those individuals who had a hand in making the show what it became, the old fans and the new fans that somehow find their way here to lend their support, and especially the hard core fans (the Candlemakers) who have built this community based on the ideals of two imagined people and an imaginary place, I send my humble thanks.

gina in ga     2/7/2009 1:20:44 PM

great job, thanks to all the candlemakers and everyone who contributed to this wonderful online convention.

Sharon     2/7/2009 10:07:40 AM
This is my first step into the Great Hall! So far it is just delightful! I have only been down here Below for a year now, but it is truly "home". The inspiration and the ideals of this wonderful show are timeless! It is encouraging to know that there are others to be connected to. We all need a sense of acceptance and belonging. Here it is! I am proud to be a part of this tunnel family, and I thank our devoted candle makers for this wonderful event! Now off I merrily skip to the Amphitheater...... So have fun and Tunnel Love to everyone!!!!!!!!!

Michelle K.     2/7/2009 10:14:17 AM
Thanks so much to all the candlemakers and contributors who work so hard to make WFOL a wonderful event!

Deb     2/7/2009 9:21:15 AM
I think as far as the treasure hunt and other of the "regular" WF activities, things are added every day. So if one of your favorites isn't here today, check the pipechamber everday and someone will tell you what has been added to the Great Hall

Kerstin     2/7/2009 9:13:01 AM
Thank you so much for creating and having this Winterfest Online. Have a great time and enjoy. I will for sure.

Marianne Nielsen     2/7/2009 9:10:51 AM
Hi! I am looking forward to this...AGAIN! I have been counting the days. I hope, this Winterfest Online will be just as good as the others! However, I haven't seen "Caption This" yet... you know, the one, where photos are shown and you post a comment of whatever kind. Some of them a bit naughty...heh-heh-heh! >;-} Anyway; I know where to spend some QUALITY TIME for the next days: AT WINTERFEST, of course!! the way: where is the treasure hunt? Is there going to be one this year? Last year, it was pretty difficult things we had to go through to "grab" the treasure!! Warm greetings Marianne Nielsen, Denmark

Wendy     2/7/2009 8:33:07 AM
This is my second Winterfest and I want to say how wonderful an experience it is.

Hélène     2/7/2009 8:24:34 AM
Merci pour tout, c'est vraiment fabuleux !!!

Cyndi     2/7/2009 7:42:18 AM
My first stop was to the library. Such wonderful imaginative talents we have here! I am in Reader's Heaven right now! I don't want to leave! I think I need to check out the treasure hunt!

Janet     2/7/2009 7:35:13 AM
